About Us

Welcome to River Park Youth Baseball. We are located in the River Park community of Sacramento, California and affiliated with the Babe Ruth League, Cal Ripken Division.
Our league includes four divisions of boys and girls mixed teams ages 5-12. T-Ball, Rookies, Minors and Majors. Registration begins in November, Tryouts in January and Opening Day in March. The season lasts through early June, followed by All Star play.

Be Good Neighbors!
Please be respectful of our neighbors by (a) adhering to the 25 mph speed limit on Moddison Avenue; (b) being careful not to park in front of a neighbor's driveway; and (c) placing all trash in the trash bins. The vast majority of our neighbors are very supportive of the league and we want to continue to be good neighbors toward them

Pitching Rules

River Park Baseball has a Facebook page and a Twitter account. More than 221 friends of RPYB have signed up on the Facebook page. Baseball Families
At the end of your team's game at Caleb or at Ciavarella, please help the coaches of your team pick up the trash in the dugout, in and under the stands, and in the parking lot and make sure it gets to a dumpster. With the number of parents and players associated with each team, it will not take long to clean up after each game.
Also please remember that, when you are working in the snack shack (especially on the weekends), it is not the best place for children under the age of 12 given the workload. To serve everyone one efficiently, particularly on Saturdays and Sundays, we will need to staff the snack shack with adults and older kids who have snack shack experience. There simply is not room for others.

The Season is Over
The championship games on Picnic Day were some of the best ever. Visit the division home pages for the final standings. Ending the weekend off with the T-Ball finals and the Coaches Soft Ball game puts a wrap on the 2010 season. All Stars Announcements (June 12)
The league fields two All Star teams - a 10 and under team and a 12 and under team. Both teams will be announced before the start of the Major game. Click here for more info.

Broken Bat Ball
The 2010 Broken Bat Ball was a success. The drinks, food, prizes, music, and more drinks were all in-affect. RPYB would like to thank everyone attending for all there support. This event brings in much needed funds for our league. We also ask that everyone give special thanks to Mikko Lopez for another year of hard work organizing such a great time.
