About Us

Welcome to River Park Youth Baseball. We are located in the River Park community of Sacramento, California and are affiliated with the Babe Ruth League, Cal Ripken Division.

Our league includes four divisions for boys and girls ages 5-12: T-Ball, Rookies, Minors and Majors. Registration begins in November, Tryouts in January and Opening Day in March. The season lasts through early June, followed by All Star play.

Pitching Rules
Taking into account the growing number of youth baseball arm injuries related to pitching the league has constructed new pitching rules. This applies to the Major and Minor divisions. You can click here to review them or go the Majors and Minors web page.

2009 Spring Season Try-Outs

Be sure to add these dates to your 2009 calendar. All players except T-ballers are required to attend two of these three dates.

Saturday, January 24th & Sunday, January 25th
Majors 9:30-11:00am; Minors 11:00-1:00pm; Rookies 1:00-3:00pm

2009 Spring Season sign-ups

Early registration nights went well and we're off to a great start but its not to late to take advantage of early sign-up fees. Download the players apps and get them in before Jan 9th. Fees are $100 for one child, $180 for two children $240 for 3children & $75ea for T-Ball. Plus a $75 refundable snack shack deposit for each child in the Major, Minor & Rookie division. No deposit for T-Ball players. After Jan 9th fees go up $25 per player. For more information & forms click here.
