Be Good Neighbors!
Please be respectful of our neighbors by (a) adhering to the 25 mph speed limit on Moddison Avenue; (b) being careful not to park in front of a neighbor's driveway; and (c) placing all trash in the trash bins. The vast majority of our neighbors are very supportive of the league and we want to continue to be good neighbors toward them

Baseball Families
At the end of your team's game at Caleb or at Ciavarella, please help the coaches of your team pick up the trash in the dugout, in and under the stands, and in the parking lot and make sure it gets to a dumpster. With the number of parents and players associated with each team, it will not take long to clean up after each game.
Also please remember that, when you are working in the snack shack (especially on the weekends), it is not the best place for children under the age of 12 given the workload. To serve everyone one efficiently, particularly on Saturdays and Sundays, we will need to staff the snack shack with adults and older kids who have snack shack experience. There simply is not room for others.

Pitching Rules
Taking into account the growing number of youth baseball arm injuries related to pitching the league has constructed new pitching rules. This applies to the Major and Minor divisions. You can click here to review them or go the Majors and Minors web page.

Composite Bat Rules
The International Board of Directors of Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken League Inc. have lifted the moratorium on composite bats. Click here for a listing of licensed baseball bats approved for use in our league. Click here for more information

LATEST NEWS.

Work Day Sunday the 12th, 9:00am
We need lots of volunteers this Sunday at Ciavarella Field to help get ready for the 2012 baseball season. Our goal is to have at least 20 people out there pulling weeds, raking, shoveling, and doing general maintenance. Bring all the tools you can. You can email Bob Benton with any questions or just to let us know your coming. Even if you can only come out for a couple hours, we can still use your help. Unfortunately, there will not be supervision for young children, and this will not be a safe time for children to play in the area around the ballpark. Kids in the 10-12 range or older who are able to work are welcome
See you at the ballpark!

2012 Season Up and Running
The season is off to a great start. All the teams have been selected and some have started practice. If you haven't been notified from a team manager or coach feel free to contact the player agent for your child's division with any questions. Contact information can be found on the contact page. Team and player information should be posted on the division web pages February 27th. Mark your calendar for March 110th Opening Day. Be sure to visit the calendar page for other important dates.
We thank you for supporting River Park Youth Base Ball. We hope you have an enjoyable season

RPYB Annual Gear Swap
It's time again to gather up all that baseball gear your kids have outgrown and donate it to the RPYB Gear Swap! Here's how it works: you get all the too-small baseball stuff out of your closets, it gets recycled and used by younger players. You can also get gently-used gear in your player's current size--for free, yes that's right, for FREE. Click here for more information.
